Tracing Back is a series of photographs from personal trip to my home country: Taiwan. I intended on capturing images of the locals working, landscapes, and the architectures. This work resembles a documentary aimed at capturing what the country is like in the present, to compare to the area in five to ten years. When photographing I tried to related my personal stories to the images of places I’ve been and/or how my life story relates to the images.
